When is it a good time to leave a job off your resume?
It could be the right thing to do if it is a much older position or a part-time job from when you were a student and now you have had significate experience since then.
In some cases not all jobs make it to the final document because the position wasn’t relevant to the position you were currently seeking. Unless the job contributes to the one you are applying for, leave it out. However, if you land the interview, be honest with your prospective employer. Explain the gaps in employment and mention you left them off due to irrelevance, length, or relationship. None of them lasted very long and you didn’t feel like they added anything new to your skillset.
